I’m Alex Tice Gray, a photographer and filmmaker that splits time between Austin, TX and Denver, CO. An avid traveler, I’ve been to 4 continents (and 14 countries) in the last 7 years, and I’m never not planning my next trip abroad.

Whether it’s documentary work in Burundi, architectural photo work in Mexico, or a cross-country roadtrip on photo assignments for Hipcamp, I’m happiest when the destination puts me outside of my comfort zone.

I’m also an active screenwriter, having placed as a quarterfinalist in the WeScreenplay Pilot Competition in 2021. I’ve written multiple feature length scripts as well, and I’m going to be a reader for the 2023 Austin Film Festival Screenplay Competition.
